Looking down from the top the engine runs CLOCKWISE. Start and run the engine in this direction only	Unwinding and breakage of flex shaft. Prop nut and shaft coming loose.
Don't run your engine at high speed out of the water.	Rod breakage -- Flex shaft breakage -- Piston Scoring
Don't allow engine in ingest water. Close throttle immediately if boat flips. The abrupt stoppage causes damage.	Rod breakage -- Flex shaft breakage
Unbalanced prop.	Excessive wear on prop shaft. -- Flex shaft breakage
Excessive wear on prop shaft.	Breakage of flex shaft.
Lack of after running maintenance	Rust -- Excessive wear on prop shaft. -- Flex shaft breakage -- Bearing Damage -- Con Rod Damage.
